The mixed vallis gives my betta tank that tall, grassy look I couldn't get with real plants. I like that it won't mess with my water parameters like actual wood does.
Dropped this in my betta tank and it looks way more natural than the plastic log it replaced. The vallis blades have a nice varied height so it doesn't scream fake, and I like that it won't mess with my water params like real driftwood did.
Was worried about tannins since I keep shrimp, but this thing hasn't changed my water parameters at all after three weeks. The vallis fronds have a nice sway to them when the filter current hits, and at 20 cm tall it fills the midground of my tank perfectly.
