The cedar Pod is a powerful little botanical, capable of releasing a surprising amount of tannin despite its small size. It's an excellent addition to Sri Lankan or Indian-style aquarium biotopes, particularly those inspired by the bordering Peninsular regions. They are also perfect for any non-region-specific blackwater aquarium to enhance the aesthetics.

All our botanicals are organically sourced, free from harmful pesticides and naturally sun-dried without chemicals.

Leo ★★★★★

Tossed a handful into my 20-gallon Indian biotope and the water went tea-colored within two days, way more tannin than I expected from pods this tiny. The 40-pack means I can rotate them out for months without reordering. My chili rasboras hang around them constantly.

Jacob E. ★★★★★

Wasn't expecting much tannin from pods this tiny, but my 29-gallon blackwater tank went tea-colored within two days. They sink fast once soaked and the shrimp have been grazing on them nonstop.

Abigail O. ★★★★★

Dropped a handful into my 20-gallon Indian biotope and the water tinted within a day — way more tannin than I expected from pods this small. The 40-pack is plenty for multiple tanks, and they sink fast instead of floating around for hours.
